Our client are seeking an experienced interpretive designer, with a proven track record of more than 8-10 years within the heritage and attractions industry.
We would like to hear from you if:
You have the necessary skills to create thoughtful and engaging interpretive design solutions
You can work both as part of a team and as a team leader within our studio in Leicester
You can communicate your creativity through a range of sketches, creative software and modelling packages - such as SketchUp or 3ds Max
You have the ability to create or to brief others in the development of AUTO CAD drawings for fabrication and construction
You can present your own and other team members’ ideas to clients - preparing and leading client workshops and presentations as necessary
You can work alongside and brief 3rd Parties such as illustrators, content developers, script editors, lighting designers, Audio visual and software designers, architects and engineers etc.

Skills Summary.

Be creative and imaginative
Strong design skills with 8+ years’ experience working within spatial communication
creative / technical drawing skills
Effective use of 3D software packages, knowledge and understanding of construction, materials, etc.
Working knowledge of industry standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up, AutoCAD 2015 as a minimum, Microsoft Office etc.
Ability to manage both design and project budgets
Knowledge, understanding and the ability to apply Health and Safety / CDM / Building regulations / Accessibility Guidelines / Statutory approvals and best practice in design
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
People management skills
Personal time management and the ability to plan and deliver to deadlines
Ability to balance priorities, managing workload of concurrent projects
Can work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to develop personal skills in line with company direction and qualities
Present our clients values in all communications
Have the ability and willingness to travel and work internationally
