We have an opportunity for an experienced graphic designer fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, skilled at producing design work for print and digital and designing infographics, with outstanding time and project management skills, a hawk-like eye for detail, and a passion for brand design. We are looking for a team player and exceptional designer who can continue to add value to our brand whilst being able to follow brand guidelines appropriately.
About the role
This design role will see the right person working closely with colleagues in the Brand team, in partnership with colleagues in the communications and digital teams, and collaboratively with project teams across the organisation. You will produce high quality design while and ensuring brand compliance across a varied range of projects. You will work cross-functionally with teams on the development and production of new and existing materials that involve brand communication.
As well as providing an exceptional design service, you will provide expert brand consultancy, manage brand assets, liaise with suppliers and be involved in a variety of brand-led projects. As an integral part of the Brand team you will play a key role in helping to drive our strategy forward by ensuring that all brand communications are produced to the highest standard and are aligned for the charity to speak with one voice.
This role requires a self-motivated and creative individual who can prioritise effectively and manage their own workload to meet multiple deadlines in order to support the Brand team. The ability to balance various projects within a fast-paced working environment is a must. Excellent time keeping and the ability to meet deadlines is essential.
To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills, along with brand and design project management experience, and experience in building strong relationships with internal clients and external suppliers.
You will have demonstrable experience in a graphic design role where you have had success in planning and producing a range of brand collateral, providing high quality service delivery, and managing projects from concept to completion. A proactive and positive approach to working with the team and colleagues across the organisation is key.
Your portfolio will show a broad range of design demonstrating a high level ability to work with brand guidelines, and typographic, layout and visualizing skills with a solid understanding of designing for both print and digital media. Additional skills such as creating emailers and video editing/production would be a plus.
The successful candidate will have a strong mix of creative, design, and brand management skills.
