Office Assistant - Furniture Design Company
A new opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant to join a well-established high end furniture manufacturing company based in Chelsea. The company is recognised for designing and manufacturing bespoke furniture for projects ranging from Luxury Residential Schemes to large scale Hotel Contracts. They have an excellent reputation for delivering custom made, high end furniture and have established themselves as a “go-to” company within the architect and interior design industries.
Due to internal promotion the company now need to recruit an organised, professional employee to assist in the daily running of the busy sales and design office.
The Office Assistant would be the responsible for answering all incoming calls and enquiries so a professional telephone manner with fluent English is essential. The role will also involve being responsible for the day to day management of the office systems to make sure all supplies are replenished and that everything is working well. Therefore, the Office Assistant will need to be happy to liaise with the external IT company regarding any IT related issues and have the general common sense to identify issues and resolve them.
The role will also involve dealing with client queries via email and some diary management on behalf of the sales team. The Office Assistant would also assist with any other administrative duties as required by the team including placing orders for office supplies, filing and archiving, scanning documents, updating the client database.
For this role it is essential that candidates have experience of working within another bespoke, high end interiors business, preferably furniture. This is a Monday to Friday role.
