Midweight Designer (Advertising)

Our client is a leader in the advertising agency arena. Not a leader by turnover, awards, size or heritage, but a leader by reputation, quality and creativity.

The current design department consists of three junior designers led by a Head of Design (with a great reputation and history of working within the edgier of the Ad agencies in London). All the designers have a huge amount of autonomy, they are challenged and pushed by the HoD, they are client-facing and are actively encourage to challenge the norm.
There is now an opportunity for a strong midweight designer to join and become the conduit between the HoD and the existing 3 designers. You will support the HoD and be a mentor and influencer for the junior designers. Work is varied, and can range from traditional press ads through to motion design. The agency has some great clients, some of whom are very well recognised by had previously only produced mediocre and predictable campaigns in the past - our client has earned a reputation for consistently pushing the boundaries for the likes of these clients and is now one of the most enviable advertising agencies in London.
We're really after designers at the top of their game for this role. I need to see a folio of work that shows your personal style and work that you have actively influenced, you must be a creator and a crafter, a boundary pusher and a design obsessive.
