Our Clients are looking to add a Project/Operations Manager to their fast growing team. The client specialise in Exhibition Stand Design for a number of sectors - working for clients all over the world they have been in the business for about 22 years and cover a wide spectrum of services based around Exhibition Stands.


Our client are looking for an articulate and pro-active Project Manager able to deal with internal staff, liaise with their clients as well as deal with their contractors off and on site. Below is the job description and salary package.


The successful candidate will: -





















      • Have an outgoing personality
      • Excellent communication skills able to deal with all levels of skilled workers to senior management
      • Excellent organisational skills
      • Good mathematical skills
      • Be able to work individually and as part of a team
      • Be familiar in using excel, creating spreadsheets and schedules
      • Able to understand the basics of design and working drawings
      • Able to meet strict deadlines
      • Able to travel internationally and have a valid passport
      • Have a full driving licence







    • Administration work
    • Collating costs for exhibition stand projects at enquiry stage for our Sales Staff and ordering after enquiry is converted to an order by our Sales Staff to include: -




































    • Furniture
    • Carpet
    • Electrics
    • Water and waste
    • Floral
    • AV
    • Internet
    • Telephones and faxes
    • Cleaning
    • Security
    • Graphics
    • Metal-work
    • Ceilings
    • Air conditioning
    • Rigging
    • Specialist lighting
    • Any other costs or special items

























On site Duties: -

















    • Approval of designs (Giving explanations to organisers and marking up drawings)
    • Calculating overall totals of services including all tax for each country that requires this
    • Creating spreadsheets in Excel for projects
    • Creating filing systems that can be used easily by others and maintain these so that they are organised and up to date
    • Project Management of project which involves liaising with our sales staff, contractors, suppliers and clients once a project is an order.
    • AV storage and stock control
    • Shipping
    • Liaising with suppliers for deals and discounts
    • Multi-tasking of work
    • Collating and maintaining samples
    • Any other reasonable requests by the Directors
    • Travelling and staying away from home to manage build-ups of shows
    • On site management of all orders placed
    • Dealing with on-site issues and overcoming challenges
    • Liaising with suppliers on site
    • Liaising with client on site
    • Collating on site extra costs and compiling a sheet on return of any extras incurred. All extras need to be approved by the person who is running the job
    • General work on site
    • Any other requests by the Directors
