We are looking for a confident and highly experienced Head of Design to work for our luxury interior design client. This is a new role in the business reporting to the Managing Director and working alongside other senior members of the team. The Head of Design will lead creative concepts, run pitches, prepare and present design proposals and manage the day-to-day communication with clients on the highest profile projects. He/she will also lead and inspire the design team, coaching and mentoring young designers to support succession planning. This is a superb senior role with lots of autonomy and high profile exposure.
The Right Candidate
Degree qualified in interior design or interior architecture, you will have a minimum of 15 years’ post-graduate experience predominately in the luxury residential sector. You will come from one of the leading luxury interior design studios in the industry and have a well-established network of contacts. You will be experienced in running prestigious projects for developers and private clients and delivering these to an exceptional standard. With natural gravitas and a keen eye for detail, you will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients. As an external facing role, you must also be able to positively represent the business and brand at all times
