Our Client based in London provide top quality corporate hospitality for some of the world’s important sporting events.

With such popular events, such as Cheltenham, Ascot and the Rugby League World Cup within their portfolio, their packages are of interest to a very wide range of businesses ranging from SME's to some of the UK’s largest corporates

This is a great opportunity to break into the Hospitality industry and work on a Top Sporting Event of 2013! To start with this will be a contract role but could lead to a permanent Position for the right candidate

Key skills our client is looking for are:

The ability to establish a rapport quickly and deal with clients from senior to director level. A wish to possess the ability to deal with senior executives in a professional manner, leaving them with a positive view of the company you represent if you do not close the sale immediately.

Your responsibilities will include:

Generating new business by cold calling corporate companies with set sales targets

This is very much a sales focused role and you will be expected to create new business and close sales through productive questioning.

You may need to set up business meetings with new prospects and larger accounts.

Generating proposals and putting together quotes for clients.

There is a small amount of administration in the form of updating database contacts and creating correspondence from template examples to clients.

The atmosphere in the office is fairly fast paced, and at times pressurised, you will be expected to respond to enquiries quickly, so you must be able to perform under pressure, remain focused and tenacious.

Skills required:

Candidate must have some level of sales experience, ideally within an outbound telephone based role, be confident with telephone cold calling, setting up face to face client meetings or closing the sales immediately. Be pro-active, self motivated and have the ability and drive to meet monthly sales targets. The candidate should be a confident negotiator as this is a daily part of the role when dealing with clients.

Ability to remain calm under pressure, good problem solving skills and the ability to show intuitive with a “can do “attitude.

Be a team player with excellent communication skills as well as good organisational skills. Maintain high company standards in service and develop strong client relationships. Familiar with Microsoft office and it would be preferable if you were up to speed with current sporting news as well as with current financial news and how it impacts upon the hospitality market
