My client is one of the UK's largest and most successful main contractors. Over the past 20 years they have played a key part in the construction of many major infrastructure and transportation projects and have steadily been growing their own mutli disciplinary design consultancy.

As a result of continued succsess they are looking for as number of Architect/Technician's to join their team to work on major Rail projects across the UK.

Succsessful candidates must have previous RAIL EXPERIENCE, be proficient with Microstation, have excellent technical skills and ideally have on site experiene. Fully qualfied Architect/Technician's are encourgared to apply with CIAT prefered.

Architect/Technician's in brief..

-a strong understanding of multi-disciplinary design and integration of other disciplines models into the architectural model.

-To deliver design and technical solutions to best ability.

-On site experience would be an advantage

-CIAT preferred

-An understanding of construction techniques and construction knowledge is essential.

-Proficient in the following:

-Revit, AutoCAD Architecture and Navisworks

-NBS/NBS Create Specification Writer

-3D Studio max (inc Vray) preferred but not essential

-Technical detailing of building components within a BIM environment

-Preferably knowledge of the following: MIcrostation, Sketch-up

-Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD Architecture and Navisworks

-Ability to solve design issues / provide technical design solutions

-Manage and lead the production of deliverables and design on a project

-Ability to work well either alone or within a team environment.

-Drive and enthusiasm to produce accurate, well presented technical details

-Good communication and presentation skills

-Good time and cost management skills - plan and achieve delivery to the desired quality to exceed expectations
