Senior Architectural Technician - London

I am looking for an innovative Senior Architectural Technician to join a well established team of Chartered Architects and Technologists that excel in delivering quality architecture across the residential, mixed use and education sector.

This award winning London based studio generates a significant level of repeat business by providing a service that exceeds the expectations of their UK and oversea clients.

As a Senior Architectural Technician you will have the opportunity to work across a range of unique developments through delivering detailed drawings in Revit.


  • Preparing planning application and producing detailed drawings for building for regulations applications.
  • Negotiating with contractors and other professionals
  • Actively attending meetings with clients and contractors.
  • Co-ordinating the work of contractors
  • Attending site visits to check on progress and ensuring that the project is running within the agreed time frame.
  • Responding to general queries that may arise during building and carrying out defect inspections
  • Co-ordinating the work of junior members of the Practice, allocating workloads and reviewing the work of your delegated authority.
  • Acting as a referral point for junior members of staff offering guidance and support.
  • Provide general administrative support when required by the Practice

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Architectural Technician.
  • An excellent understanding of Revit.
  • Previous experience working on residential, educational or mixed use projects valued between £50,000 - £1,000,000.
  • Experience of producing working and detailed drawings for new build residential developments.
  • An extensive knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work from your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and keep within financial budgets.
  • The ability to problem-solve, but also raise critical issues in a timely-manner.
