Part-time Designer / Art Director
We have a rather exciting new freelance to perm role for a part-time Designer 2 maybe 3 days a week. It's working for a really fun FMCG brand that has built a strong foundation and is now looking to bring on board their first Creative.
Their current Designers are based in their US office however the Marketing and Brands guys over here are in need of someone that is uber super creative, packed full of brilliant campaign ideas spanning social, experiential, on and offline advertising, direct mail - the whole lot! Also happy working on a range of BAU work including packaging iterations, press packs etc etc
Initially they would like someone to join them on a freelance basis however they know they need someone there long term too.
They would also want someone that would take initiative and guide them on the social side - they need to get their follower numbers up and they see clever creative as being the way! Here's the nitty gritty of the spec:
Perm salary around £35K pro rata
Strong photoshop skills
Creative flair, originality & a strong visual sense
Flexible working approach, able to work across a number of different projects & work with both London & LA teams.
Confidence in presenting ideas to the team
Able to take constructive feedback & direction
Main responsibilities would be:
Social content development (memes, short films etc)
Idea & concept generation
Stylising- ensuring everything the brand sends out looks consistent, high visual impact & has that extra ‘lick’ of creative thinking (presentation slides, point of sale)
Development of branded point of sale materials for our sales team & our field team (i.e.designs for counter top display units, pull up banners, trade adverts)
Packaging layouts (likely that full packaging development would be led by our US team, but would need help with iterations)
Nice to have’s:
Video production & editing skills
Experience in website development
