Senior Digital Designer

My client are an independent, ambitious, award-winning, creative agency based in East London. They make brands more famous and glorious by making stuff that people care about. They do all sorts of work, but it's mostly online.

There's about a team of 30 (27 humans, 3 dogs) - but both those numbers grow all the time. They have creative, design, development, strategy and accounts all in a beautiful riverside warehouse studio, right on The Thames.

They're looking for a new Senior Digital Designer to join their ranks. They want someone who is talented and creative. Someone experienced enough to independently handle a range of projects that might fall in their laps, from content creation to big digital design builds. They want someone who stays up to date with the current design trends and has a thousand ideas tucked away. And they love a curious designer. Someone who loves to step out of their comfort zone and try something new - be it a branding job, learning motion graphics or trying their hand at directing a photoshoot.

The type of person:

Someone who lives and breaths digital. Someone who is hungry to grow as a designer and not just a cog in a big machine.

* Has amazing digital design skills.* Has a good understanding of UX and can design across platforms.* Understands HTML and how to push it to its limits (design/ideas only - no coding skills required).* Can also work on branding and some print projects.* Isn't afraid of big brands (commercial work for consumer-brands in your portfolio would be a big plus).* Is equally happy working solo on bread and butter work as well as with design director and team on bigger creative campaigns.* Has some experience managing other team members and is keen continue doing so.* Has experience meeting clients, distilling briefs and seeing it through to execution.* Pro-active and committed to developing own knowledge and skills.* Unafraid to roll up sleeves and muck in.* Organised and self-disciplined, with an ability to multi-task and consistently hit deadlines.* Is interested in being involved in the growth of the business as a whole.
