Practice Manager for Boutique Management Consultancy
A cutting-edge management consultancy specialising in brand strategy is looking for a Practice Manager to join their team in London. The consultancy is led by a group of people previously employed by some of the industry's most impressive organisations. They offer exceptional strategic ideas supported by brilliant execution. This is a pivotal role for the company, across new business, client liaison, HR, office management and commercial matters.
This role will suit someone who has an interest in consumer brands across media/hospitality/retail/tech and a curiosity for the arts, design and the power of aesthetic. Excellent project management skills with experience in budgeting, scoping and scheduling is an advantage as well as consultancy or agency practice experience.
Resource management; co-ordination of all consultancy resource, managing and mentoring project co-ordinator, oversee Senior Partner diary management, work with project coordinator to help prioritize workload and ensure admin function is working smoothly and efficiently, support administration of HR polices/practices, recruitment, training and development, inductions
Overseeing the smooth running of the building, management of office suppliers including IT, stationery, catering, plumbers, electricians, security etc (supported by the project team coordinators), liaison with landlord and tenants, overseeing of front of house and hospitality, filing systems: both digital and physical storage strategies, leading on ordering information for efficiency, ensure that all client and company information is filed and stored; this includes shareholder and financial information, as well as client documentation
Support smooth communication across consulting team and have a thorough understanding of key projects and priorities, leading on all project admin protocol; ensuring best practice at every step of journey, providing information and updates on project budgets and proactive management of resource, including purchase of additional resource, ensure workshops are set up effectively and run efficiently (with project co-ordinator), general administration including status reports, scheduling, filing and archiving as needed
Overseeing project commerciality through planning and coordination of project journey (process, timelines, key events and production of deliverables), monitor client work, fees, resources and priorities, overseeing the highlighting of any budget, scope or team issues, proactively work with Associates to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.
