Our client are a Central London based Design Consultancy that set out to create effective print-based communication solutions on a global level. A close-knit team of talented and dedicated professionals, our client work with some of the best known brands around the world and produce visuals and artwork that is displayed in over 30 languages.

Role Description

Our client are looking for a Senior Creative Artworker & Studio Manager, specifically with extensive large format experience, including posters, billboards and window displays. Working alongside Project Managers and Artworkers, the chosen candidate must be a responsible individual capable of leading a team and managing peers, including freelancers. The chosen candidate will be responsible for creating large format print executions to be distributed the world over in numerous languages. This will include creating and preparing artwork for print use, connecting graphics and visualising artwork. Our client are ideally looking for someone with some level of Studio Management experience, someone who is comfortable running the day to day of the studio, taking into account work flow and studio output.

This role also requires certain levels of administration qualities, organising and keeping an historical database of all artwork created and also buddy checking artwork and printer proofs. Because of the nature of the business, the chosen candidate will be required to travel outside of the UK for up to a month at a time, 2 to 3 times per year.

Skills & Experience

Our client are looking for a Senior level candidate that is a competent autonomous worker and trustworthy team player with experience managing and overseeing other team members, including freelancers. The ideal candidate will be a willing multi-tasker with an adaptable approach to problem solving, someone who is calm under pressure and possesses strong leadership qualities.

Other Skills Include:

Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat

Extensive experience experience artoworking large format graphics (Posters, billboards, window displays etc)

Previous studio management experience with small-medium sized teams

Confident working in Keynote, Pages, Microsoft Excel and Word

Confident with PDF output and FTP delivery

An excellent eye for detail, typography and layout

Excellent team player willing to take direction and follow instructions
