My client is a well established residential developer working across the UK.
The variety of developments they have produced is impressive; from traditionally styled bricks and mortar houses and apartment blocks to contemporary ground-breaking designs in steel and glass, ranging from 20 units through to complexes with hundreds of homes.
They are currently recruiting for an innovative Architectural Technician to deliver their exciting developments within current and future pipeline. Their projects range from the refurbishment of listed jacobean style mansions to the bespoke new build developments.
As an Architectural Technician you will be required to work both as part of a team and independently on delivering residential schemes from inception through to planning determination. You will be drafting the necessary planning drawings and assist in producing all supporting documentation. The role will involve working towards deadlines and liaison predominantly within the residential team.
What they are looking for
The ideal candidate will be an energetic, enthusiastic and communicative person who works well as part of a team but can also progress works independently when required.
You will have previous experience in a similar role, and be proficient in using most architectural packages.
Must demonstrate strong understanding of design and must have excellent technical knowledge and experience.
You will be a strong team player and show strong initiative and design thinking. Having experience in the residential sector especially if you have worked for a developer will be advantageous.
