Studio Manager - Art Consultancy
A well-established art consultancy is looking to recruit a Studio Manager to join their busy creative team. The Studio Manager will function to oversee the daily running of this international arts business and proven experience in a similar capacity is very much required. The company have a long standing reputation and have a high profile international client base.
The successful candidate will have experience of setting up and running office procedures and systems always looking to review processes ensuring that the operation is running efficiently. This is a role that will require lots of multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines. A keen interest in art and / or the creative industries would be hugely beneficial.
Daily duties will involve:
Providing general PA duties to the senior team including diary management, travel bookings, organising special events.
Opening and closing the office
Maintaining the project management system
Preparing confidential documents and art copyright agreements
Maintaining records of employee holidays, absences etc
Assisting with recruitment when required
Processing invoices and raising invoices accordingly
Manage Petty Cash
Provide all round support to the team as required
Candidates who speak French or German would be at an advantage however this is not a strict requirement. Experience of using Excel and Word is required and Photoshop would also be advantageous. Any experience of using project management software such as Mac Project Management would also be desirable.
In return the company is offering a competitive basic of up to £40,000 they also supply daily lunches. Hours are 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
