Established in 2009, this design practice has become one of the most trusted and respected in the industry and are famous for their impeccably executed ‘new English’ style. Combining interior architecture, interior design and project management within one concept-to-completion, fully bespoke service, their portfolio includes townhouses, city apartments, manor houses and farmhouses, as well as hotels and restaurants.

They are regularly featured in the House and Garden list of 100 leading interior designers, Sunday Times Top 30 interior designers, Country and Townhouse Top 50 designers and Country Life’s best 100 architects, builders and designers.

With an increasing number of projects in the pipeline, they are now looking for an Interior Architect to join them and work on projects ranging from £250,000 - £7 mill in budget and an exciting pitch for a Hotel in Ireland.

Roles and Responsibilities

Working principally on technical drawing packages, this role will cover all elements of interior architecture, from drawing up floor plans, elevations and reflected ceiling plans to interior details, such as bespoke joinery, custom furniture and architectural features. These will be developed ready to be issued for tender.
Have you worked on all of the above, but would also like to get involved in FF&E? Not a problem! My client is keen in appointing the right person and happy to include this as part of the role for the perfect individual.

Required Skills and Experience

You will be a team player with an interest in both architecture and interior design and will have worked either as an interior architect, architect or a technical designer before.

- 3+ years’ experience working on high-end residential projects
- Experience working on listed building and/or country homes/estates would be highly beneficial
- Strong background working across all project stages
- Proven track record producing drawing packs, detailed drawings and joinery
- Familiarity with building regulations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A technical mind with attention to detail
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and MS Office
- A flexible approach with strong self-motivation and self-discipline
- Clean UK driving license

Salary & Package

The successful candidate will benefit from a salary range of £30,000 – £45,000 plus a 28-day holiday entitlement, a workplace pension scheme and the option to choose private healthcare.

Soft Benefits

Besides working in a beautifully designed office that can very easily be published in a design magazine, you will benefit from an in-house car wash service, fitness classes in the garden, a vegetable garden where you can pick your favourite veggies from and cook them in the practice’s amazing kitchen.
