Junior Project Manager - Furniture
A junior project manager is required by a contemporary contract furniture supplier. The company supply to a wide range of commercial projects and each project varies in size and complexity. They work with some of the leading commercial furniture brands to deliver design-led projects on time and within budget.
The junior project manager will assist the senior project manager with day to day project management duties as well as taking on their own projects and seeing these through from inception to completion.
The role will give the junior project manager the chance to attend site visits to consult on projects and to monitor project progression. You will be overseeing furniture installation projects and will liaise with clients on project updates, deal with subcontracted installation partners and coordinate deliveries from suppliers into warehousing until they are ready for installation.
The role will also involve supporting account managers with tender bids and delivery and installation quotations.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with furniture and have knowledge of installations with strong project coordination experience.
You will need to be pragmatic, excellent with clients, highly organised with great time management skills.
