Our Client with offices in London & Surrey is looking to add a talented Project Designer to their Egham Office. Our client creates quality commercial interiors which positively impact on business productivity and employee satisfaction. Growing year on year they feel the time is right once again to add to their team. 
General purpose of role:
The Client Support Designer’s role is to work alongside the Senior Technical Designer, Head of Client Support and Client Support Manager to support them with technical as well as creative design solutions. Client support is a division of our Regions team that predominantly deals with our existing client base to develop those relationships. This role with involve all client support small works varying from £5000 - £250K and is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their design skills and gain experience through working on project from start to finish.

Key Accountabilities:
Working on projects from taking the initial brief, delivering and seeing the job through to completion.
Working on several projects at any one time.
Amending existing drawings in AutoCAD.
Specifying materials and when required produce and print boards for presentations.
Assisting the team as required with technical and conceptual design.
Liaising with M&E consultants and sub-contractors.
Attending client & site meetings.

Professional Skills & Experience:
Degree within Architectural Technology or Interior Design.
Some technical interior design experience (used to working with CAD) and an interest in conceptual design and looking at the whole job.
Ideally some commercial/workplace design experience.
Used to working on several projects at any one time or ability to juggle several tasks.
Developing commercial awareness and ability to design to a budget.
Proficient user of latest version of AutoCAD and some experience of producing detailed technical drawings.
Strong aesthetic / good eye for design and detail.
Some experience using Photoshop & Sketch up, and the ability to learn software quickly as well as good knowledge of Microsoft office.
Excellent time management and communication skills
Driving licence and own car is a MUST.
