Our client, a multi-award winning publishing and events group behind a portfolio of ground-breaking consumer exhibition and magazine titles that has extended the brand to an innovative weight-loss franchise programme. Due to continued success our client is now looking for an Advertising Sales Manager
Since our acquisition of the portfolio in September 2014, Good Homes has enjoyed significant growth in circulation and advertising market share. The title has undergone a complete relaunch, with ongoing investment in the highest quality editorial and design, exciting marketing strategies and increased presence on the newsstand.
We are seeking an established advertising manager with a proven track record in sales. You will be expected to lead by example, have keen eye for good design; you will love to travel, and you thrive on being the ‘face of the magazine’ in a stylish fast-moving industry. You love publishing and are well-versed in making an industry your own. You love printed magazines and champion their future, yet you’ve embraced the digital age and know how to excite you’re readers through todays tech.
To ensure monthly advertising sales targets are achieved across online, print and tablet
To manage the advertising sales team, maximizing their potential
To lead from the front and set the standard
To develop and grow personal client base and spend, as well as that of the entire team
To ensure all new business is followed up and converted to repeat business
To represent the magazine professionally at all relevant exhibitions and events
To attend all relevant networking opportunities, wherever, whenever
To manage the smooth commercial workflow of the magazine
To forecast and report on sales progress and patterns
To identify opportunities that progress the standing and profitability of the product group
