Sales Representative - Bespoke Window Treatments
With a long-standing reputation for manufacturing bespoke, high end curtain poles and accessories this makes a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales representative to join the team. As holders of the Royal Warrant the company’s products can be seen in palaces and some of the most luxurious homes around the world.
The company operate their own workshop and all items are created as truly bespoke pieces for the client’s interior design project.
This role will involve building relationships with interior designers and other trade clients. The business is already very well-known and established and they have strong, historic relationships with many of their clients. The Sales Representative will act as ambassador ensuring that the company continues to maintain business as well as grow and develop new sales opportunities.
The role will involve:
Managing a portfolio of existing customers - visiting and contacting them regularly, and encouraging brand loyalty whilst increasing sales. The portfolio will cover London and the South East, however occasional trips to other areas may also be required
Creating new customer relationships and generating new business
Helping at trade fairs and converting enquiries into sales
Candidates should have a good knowledge of the sales process and have great interpersonal skills. You will need the ability to quickly build working relationships with clients and should be able to work well independently and manage your own workload. A clean driving licence will be required and on a weekly basis you will be meeting with a range of interior design and trade clients.
The ideal candidate should have undertaken a field based sales role.
Candidates with experience in the interiors sector or with any experience with window furnishings or curtains would be a bonus.
Full clean driving licence
Monday to Friday only. Basic salary up to £40,000 plus bonus and commission.
