Based in Coventry, this award winning creative experience agency is on the lookout for a 3D designer to join their multi-disciplinary creative and design team. The current team is a selection of passionate creatives that service an automotive focused client roster across various touch points, these include global auto shows, product launches, internal communication events, corporate identity and retail design for clients. 

The successful candidate should have at least 1-2 years experience within an agency environment. It is important that the successful designer should have had exposure working looking after concept designs (plans, drawings and visuals) in response to client or internal briefs under the guidance and direction of the Creative Lead, through to producing high quality renders of responses, produce design intent working drawings and stand plans.

Due to the agencies structure, the designer will great autonomy and involvement from initial concept stages but will be required to apply a hands on approach in order to deliver the project, whether that be in a from a technical drawing perspective or 3D renders. The successful designer, should also be happy working in a production focused environment. Due to the nature and scale of the teams client, sometimes speedy delivery becomes of high importance.

Reporting into the Senior Designer and Creative Group Head to develop innovative concept designs in response to client or internal briefs under the guidance and direction of the Creative Lead. You should be comfortable relaying your design to your peers. Even at this level the successful will contribute to growing a creative culture in the Coventry office, weekly trips to the London office may be required in order to help build and maintain a strong link between the two hubs.

You should ideally possess these skills:

  • An interior architecture, exhibition or environmental design qualification at degree level is preferable.
  • Space planning, draughting, and visualisation skills
  • Strong knowledge of Vectorworks essential.
  • Working knowledge of Cinema 4d, Photoshop, as well as good Microsoft Office, Illustrator, In-Design desirable.
