On the look out for an outstanding individual who lives eats breaths all things creative to join the ranks of our Surrey based clients!

A key senior role, you will oversee the work produced by the Design and Digital Design teams. Working closely with the Design Manager and Digital Design Manager, who will report into you, you will ensure the creative integrity of the work (quality, relevance, on brand, attention to detail). You’ll also be required to encourage, suggest and implement new ideas emerging in our industry, pushing your team to embrace innovation and working with the Creative Director to implement change. 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee the work produced by the Design and Digital Design teams, ensuring the quality is of the highest standard
  • Work with the Creative Director to implement new ideas, support on team development and support the values of the company
  • Take responsibility for creative pitches and concept work
  • Present your work to the client and relevant agency contacts
  • Attend ‘work in progress’ and ‘first thoughts’ meetings and be a brand guardian when required
  • To lead, support and manage all members of the team, with specific responsibility for the day-to-day workload and priorities, including resource management
  • Work closely with senior members of Account Management and the Studio to ensure best practice is met on the planning, implementation and management of projects
  • Constantly review the way we work to benefit the client and agency – looking for smarter and more efficient ways of working, keeping up to speed with industry innovations and trends
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure deadlines are met and the best possible solutions for creative executions are chosen and are on budget
  • To develop and lead your team, holding regular appraisals
  • To pro-actively work with all levels of seniority within the client’s team
  • Display best-in-class creative thinking and knowledge
  • Have a keen eye for detail and great communication skills

 Skills and Expertise

  • 6+ years experience working at top integrated and/or digital agencies
  • Ideally from an Art Direction and design background
  • Excellent understanding of design principles and how they apply across print and digital
  • A good understanding of storytelling and how this transfers across different media
  • The ability to scamp out ideas
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Can work independently and also lead a team of designers with different skill-sets
  • Experience in nurturing designers, helping them develop and learn new skills
  • Exceptional eye for detail
  • Very strong Adobe Creative Suite skills
