Principal Architect - Berkshire

Description

My client has a a great opportunity for a Principal Architect who has a proven track record in Architectural Design in particular some of the following market sectors:

  • Public Sector
  • Defence
  • Pharmaceutical and Research & Development
  • Laboratory

You will be a registered Architect - (RIBA and ARB) and able to demonstrate suitable qualification experience.

Client care and repeat business are intrinsic to the role and you will need to demonstrate an aptitude of effective communication with their clients that supports their business objective.

Prerequisite to the role is experience in leading teams, projects and packages of work, and the ability to ensure cost effective and accurate delivery. Have excellent communitive and interpersonnel skills. This will be demonstrated by a track record of successful projects and contribution to departmental development.

Role Summar

In Design you will need to manage multidisciplinary projects or medium sized sites and their associated activities from conception through to completion, delivering work that meets project requirements, customer satisfaction and in accordance with company standards.

You will manage managers, colleagues, function or discipline and will have the ability to work in a team environment contributing across a business unit or area and to motivate employees to achieve high standards of compliance against technical and commercial targets.

Desire Attributes:

  • Imaginative and creative thinking skills, ability to analyse and critically assess problems.
  • Ability to give attention to the smallest detail, be a lateral thinker and be able to solve complex problems.
  • Technical understanding of Lab Building materials and elements, structures, construction and services.
