(Senior) Business Development Manager
The role is very diverse, calling for someone with experience in prospect development, proposal writing, and pitching.
As part of the role you will be required to work with everyone in the agency, from the most junior to very senior, so it is important for you to be able to manage up and down, as well as being able to read a room and think on your feet.
The ideal candidate will need to flexible and forward thinking, proactive and solutions focused, calm under pressure and a team player.
*Relationship building with potential prospects, existing client, and lapsed clients.
*Collaborate with the strategy team, and the executive leadership team to create and write tailored responses to RFPs / RFI's, a pitch briefs
*Support the client service team in farming existing accounts
*Work with PR Agency/Consultant to deliver press coverage for the agency in line with the PR and Marketing Strategy. Exercise creative and strategic thinking to ensure the client is in the most relevant publications and seen to be one of the best branding and design agencies globally.
*Collaborate with wider team to ensure we enter all award winning work into appropriate award ceremonies and categories. Working with the studio and strategy team to write the entries, and co-ordinate the events themselves.
*Read industry and business publications/website/social feeds to maintain awareness of breaking news relevant to existing or prospective clients.
*Managing the client contact database and a pipeline / status document
*Develop strong relationships with your immediate team, the agency in London, and key people across the network.
