The speed read:

International branding agency (based in London) are looking for (ideally) a Swiss German speaking designer with consumer branding and editorial experience.  If you happen to speak French or Italian that would also be useful!   This is a rolling freelance contract with potential to run for 6mths to 1 year, and you will have at least 5+ years experience.

The facts:

Day to day you will be designing a bi-monthly magazine (for a retail/beauty brand), from concept and art direction, including unique covers for each issue.  This will be a client facing role, and will require support to the client during pre-press (overseeing of art worker and assistance in communication with printers in Switzerland).

In addition to this, there will be a variety of projects associated with the brand, and development of designs and toolkits for local activations.  This could be anything from POS to CRM Mailings.

Experience of magazine/layout is vital, but an overall understanding of branding within the consumer/beauty sectors would be beneficial, and some experience of the digital landscape (social media, web design) is also important.  Knowledge and understanding of the retail market is useful.

You'll be:

Swiss German speaking, with additional languages a plus (French or Italian)
Experienced in magazine and layout design
Experienced working across brand in general
