Head of Creative
We’re recruiting on behalf of an innovative and fast-paced direct-to-consumer life insurance business with big ambitions for the year ahead, to find a Head of Creative. The brand has an exciting marketing agenda already planned which involves launching new products, new brands and moving in to categories, and this will need to be supported by strong creative output across a range of channels and customer touch points.
We’re looking for an outstanding and entrepreneurial Head of Creative who is excited by the challenge and opportunity to take the lead in this important area of the business. You’ll be responsible for driving the creative and communication strategy and will need to be confident leading the end-to-end development of creative projects across all channels – including TV, direct, paid digital, print, content, website and CRM. Leading the current creative team (and developing them in line with business growth and ambitions) you will play a key role in defining brand strategy, propositions and positioning for new products and brands, whilst being fully comfortable in a start-up environment where there is a strong element of hands on involvement with day-to-day projects.
Our ideal candidate will need to have significant experience at senior level and strike a good balance between strategic thinking and hands on, executional excellence to build and manage a strong creative roadmap that ensures the in-house design function is adequately resourced to deliver against business requirements.
Our ideal candidate:
Strong experience at Senior level, managing a creative studio.
Proven experience in cross-channel concept development.
A strategically minded but creatively driven person.
Quickly able to understand the wider ambitions of the business and determine how these can be driven and supported by strong creative output.
Experience in performance/DR marketing communications would be hugely beneficial.
An inspirational leader with a credible design background.
