About the role
The Product team is the linchpin between Dyson engineers developing new machines and the marketers that sell them. This demands equal proficiency with science and commerce. It’s about understanding innovative technologies, gathering insights and providing guidance on consumer needs.
One minute you’ll be deep in discussion with engineers about technical details; the next you’ll be meeting marketing directors to predict consumer appetite. Throughout the process you’ll be working with experts in law, numerous engineering disciplines, intellectual property, procurement, marketing, product standards, finance and testing.
You’ve got a strong technical, scientific or mathematical background. When you look at complex data, you see commercial opportunities. You quickly become an expert in something new – providing rigorous substantiation to back-up your insights. You enjoy taking a key role in the development of new products, rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in if necessary. Because, like everyone at Dyson, you have endless enthusiasm for solving problems.
